The Falcon Theatre has announced that, due to an unexpected family situation, actress Carol Burnett has canceled her scheduled appearance in the theatre's second show of its 2007-2008 season, What's Been Bothering You Lately?

Burnett was to play an under-qualified life coach in the world premiere of Charles Grodin's comedy, What's Been Bothering You Lately?, with performances beginning in mid-October.  The Falcon's producers are currently deciding on Burnett's replacement and more information will be made available within the next several weeks.

The rest of the Falcon Theatre's sixth subscription season includes Leap by Arnold Margolin, the world premiere of The Troubadour Theater Company's A Charlie James Brown Christmas, as well as Peter King Beach's The Memoirs of Abraham Lincoln.  The final show in the five-play season is still to be announced.

The Falcon Theatre is located at 4252 Riverside Drive in Burbank.  For more information visit www.FalconTheatre.com or call the box office at 818-955-8101.
