THE PLAZA THEATRE Continues Rolling Out A Season Of Exciting Shows And Events For 2026-27

The Plaza Theatre continues the rollout of its highly anticipated 2026–2027 season with the addition of two iconic tribute performances celebrating legendary voices of American music. From the unmistakable sound of Johnny Cash to the timeless charm of Dean Martin, these productions bring beloved classics to life with stunning authenticity and theatrical flair.

The Man in Black: A Tribute to Johnny Cash

 With his striking resemblance, rich baritone voice, and spot-on mannerisms, Shawn Barker delivers an unforgettable portrayal of Johnny Cash in this one-of-a-kind concert experience. Performing in character throughout the evening, Barker takes audiences on a journey through the life and music of the “Man in Black,” capturing the spirit and soul of one of America’s greatest musical icons. 

Backed by a full band, the show features legendary hits including “Folsom Prison Blues,” “I Walk The Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” “Hurt,” and “Ring of Fire.” With more than two decades of international touring and over one million tickets sold, Barker’s performance has become widely regarded as the premier Johnny Cash tribute in the world. 

The Dean Martin Story Christmas Special

 Dean Lives. This festive production brings the legacy of Dean Martin to the stage through a nostalgic, theatrical journey told in three musical acts. Framed through the memories of a fictional “Ol’ Theater Caretaker,” the show reflects on Martin’s life, career, and enduring influence. 

Starring Drew Anthony, whose uncanny performance captures Martin’s signature charm, style, and effortless cool, the 90-minute experience features a beautifully arranged live band and many of Dean’s most beloved songs. Perfect for the holiday season, this special blends music, storytelling, and timeless sophistication into an evening of classic entertainment.
