The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival concludes its 2025 season with a return of the popular cabaret, Play On! A Shakespeare Inspired Mixtape, created by Robert Markus, Julia Nish-Lapidus, and James Wallis. Running from August 12 to 16 at The Kinsmen Amphitheatre, this updated version features new songs while blending pop music with Shakespearean text. The cast includes Jade McLeod as Beatrice, Jacob MacInnis as Richard, Kryslyne Mai Ancheta as Juliet, and Luciano Decicco as Romeo, accompanied by a local band led by music director Joseph Herbison. This high-energy performance promises to entertain audiences of all ages.
