Chicago’s internationally acclaimed Joffrey Ballet blends sweeping dance with sublime works. For this special NAC program the Joffrey will present a superb evening of contemporary ballet works from Christopher Wheeldon, William Forsythe and Edward Liang. The dynamism and luxurious style of this exuberant company will be on full display, showcasing the prodigious physical movements and thoroughly engaging artistry for which they are renowned. Under the artistic direction of Ashley Wheater, the company embraces a multitude of styles while the Joffrey dancers’ technical virtuosity, exquisite precision and understated elegance is always right on the mark.
