The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall's 2012-2013 season is off and running, but who is to say that we can't add a couple more shows to get you moving, come January! The rhythmic masters of STOMP have added a matinee performance at 4pm on January 3, 2012. The high energy percussive group creates complex beats utilizing everything, but traditional instruments, while incorporating acrobatic dance styling to generate a heart pumping, eye opening experience like none other.

Additionally, "The King of Rock n' Roll" will be making a stop through Sarasota with Elvis Lives on January 17, 2013. This multi-media and live musical journey across Elvis's diverse career transports the viewer to another time that will never be forgotten. Audiences young and old continue to be floored by the legacy of this undeniable rock legend, making Elvis Lives a unique chance to expose a loved one, or perhaps get your own first glimpse of "The King." And, with support from Elvis Presley Enterprises and Graceland, this particular Elvis extravaganza is the crème de la crème of Elvis shows!

STOMP tickets are priced from $30-$65. Elvis Lives tickets are priced from $10-$55. For more information, call the Box Office at 941-953-3368, or toll free 800-826-9303, or visit www.VanWezel.org
