The cast of students from the Summer Musical Theatre Project are ready to hit the stage in one of our favorite stories. Disney's Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy-Award-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the "diamond in the rough" street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.

The young adults from our five-week long Summer Musical Theatre Project have worked hard and are ready for their appearance in the classic Broadway musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.

The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, from a parody of French ballads;"Those Canaan Days," to country-western, "One More Angel in Heaven," and calypso "Benjamin Calypso," along with the unforgettable classics, "Any Dream Will Do," and "Close Every Door."

Single Tickets may be purchased by visiting kingcenter.com or by calling the King Center Ticket Office at 321.242.2219. Ticket office hours are Mon - Fri, Noon - 6 pm; Sat, Noon - 4 pm.
