StarStruck Theatre's ANNIE Closes

Leapin' Lizards! The sun will come out as the new StarStruck Theatre in Stuart raises the curtain on the second show of its 2012 Professional Series - ANNIE! ANNIE is the timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie's rags-to-riches adventure. The musical will run at the gorgeous 202-seat theatre located at 2101 S Kanner Hwy through February 19.

"Annie is the perfect family musical for so many reasons." Director Jennifer Jones said. "Kids love seeing other kids on stage and the music is fun and exciting. The story line
revolves around children-their relationships with all sorts of people, how love grows and shows up in our lives in many different ways."

ANNIE stars Katie Rodgers as the spunky redhead Annie. Reprising their roles from StarStruck's previous smash run of the show are Jill Coleman as the wicked Miss Hannigan and Brian Pecci as the lovably aloof tycoon Oliver Warbucks. Breakout star Katie Hoeg, recently seen in the sold out run of StarStruck's NUNSENSE, plays Warbucks' elegant assistant, Grace. Adding comic support is New York Equity actor Josh Rhett Noble as Miss Hannigan's conniving brother, Rooster, and his ditzy girlfriend, Lily St. Regis, played by Trinna Pye.

Directed by Jennifer Jones. Musical direction by the incomparable Peter Jones. Choreography by Maria-Elena Alfieri.
