The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts celebrated its highly anticipated grand premiere with the BROADWAY & BEYOND opening night concert-the first performance to be held in its new Walt Disney Theater and BroadwayWorld was there. The concert featured performances by Orlando native, Tony nominee, and current star of Broadway's Phantom of the Opera, Norm Lewis, celebrated soprano Deborah Voigt, Broadway star Sierra Boggess, actorMichael Urie, and many more. The performance was conceived by Broadway director and producer, Richard Jay-Alexander, and musical conductor, Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
