Orlando REP Presents New Show In A Groundbreaking Co-Comissions Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is proud to present Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt (April 9 - May 13, 2018). This production is presented by the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC).

Judy Moody often has flights of fancy, but a real-life adventure on a treasure island just might top them all! As soon as the Moody family drops anchor on "Artichoke" Island, they are greeted by Scurvy Sam, a pirate who sends Judy Moody and Stink on a swashbuckling adventure, involving cryptic clues, secret codes, and tricky puzzles. Will this adventure help Judy Moody complete her Me Collage? The siblings team up to race against the clock and other treasure-hunters.

Based on the acclaimed children's book series by Megan McDonald, the play has been adapted from the first book in the Judy Moody series along with Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt. Playwright Allison Gregory, whose previous work on Orlando REP's Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! and Go, Dog. Go!, has collaborated with Orlando REP and six other theatres across the country on this group commission to bring the play to life. The partner theatres are Bay Area Children's Theatre in Berkeley, CA; First Stage in Milwaukee, WI; Oregon Children's Theatre in Portland, OR; The Rose Theatre in Omaha, NE; Children's Theatre of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, and Adventure Theatre MTC in Glen Echo, MD. This is the largest collaboration of its kind in the Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) field.

"We are really excited to present Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt," says Jeff Revels, Orlando REP's artistic director. "Orlando REP's audience is an integral part of this play's creation and that is the beauty of new play development... We are all excited to see where the story will be after the seventh production."
