Gen Y Productions announces the world premiere of Spring at the Willowbrook Inn, a new play by Jonathan Van Dyke and Doug Evans - starring legendary actor, activist and athlete Greg Louganis - will play a limited engagement at the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts January 28 through February 14. Following the Orlando engagement, Willowbrook will debut in New York City with Louganis in late Spring. Additional casting and details of the NYC engagement will be announced soon.

Spring at the Willowbrook Inn, directed by Scott Wojcik, follows the lives of Cooper Stanwyck and Joshua Hill from their first meeting in 1967 at a motivational conference. The unlikely pair develops a deep relationship based on mutual understanding and love as their lives unfold separately over the course of 48 years. Through correspondence and decades of meeting at The Willowbrook Inn, they become pivotal in each other's lives. The heartfelt, yet comedic story touches on the struggles of being true to yourself, hope, the sadness of regret, and the courage of two people who are ultimately connected.

The role of Joshua Hill is played by four-time Olympic champion, Greg Louganis. Louganis was one of the most prominent American athletes of the 1980s, winning four gold medals for diving in the 1982 and 1986 Olympics. An author and LGBT-rights activist, he was also the focus of the recent HBO documentary Back on Board: Greg Louganis.

Tickets for Spring at the Willowbrook Inn are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting DrPhillipsCenter.org, calling 844-513-2014 or visiting the Dr. Phillips Center Box Office at 445 S. Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando.
