Elizabeth Vargas Announced as Moderator on Joe Biden's American Promise Tour
Elizabeth Vargas, Co-Anchor of ABC News' "20/20" will moderate former Vice President Joe Biden's stop in Orlando at Dr. Phillips Center's Walt Disney Theater on his American Promise Tour.
As an award-winning ABC News anchor, Elizabeth Vargas has traveled the world covering breaking news stories, reporting in-depth investigations, and conducting newsmaker interviews. She is currently the co-anchor of "20/20" with David Muir. Vargas is also the author of "Between Breaths: A Memoir of Panic and Addiction" released in 2016.
"Over the last month I've traveled around the country to share the story of my son Beau. I have been incredibly touched by countless stories of resilience and hope that so many people have shared with me - stories of enormous loss, and yet, in defiance of that loss, they get up every morning and summon the strength to live a life of purpose. Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization operating the state-of-the-art performing arts center in downtown Orlando, Florida.
