Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts Announces Spring Semester Classes
Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts announced a line-up of Broadway Master Classes and the spring semester classes today.
Registration is available now by calling 407-455-5551 or online at drphillipscenter.org/classes or in person by visiting the Dr. Phillips Center at 155 East Anderson Street 2nd floor from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.
"The vision of a center for excellence in performing arts education that serves a diverse community for everyone from 3 to 103 is realized through the variety of classes offered, our incredible faculty, and our amazing students," said Kathy Ramsberger, president & CEO of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
"Our curriculum is designed to have something for everyone, starting with our Broadway master classes taught by visiting artists from the Broadway tours to our semester classes that include Hip-Hop, Voice to Yoga/Pilates, Acting, Piano, Creative Movement, Guitar, Improvisation, Musical Theater and an acting class for those on the Autism Spectrum called Sensory Friendly Theater," said Dana Brazil, director of Education.
Brazil is the recipient of the 2015 award for Outstanding Achievement in Education and Engagement by the Broadway League for her initiatives at the Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts.
