Red Theater Omaha Presents RED IS THE NEW BLACK, 7/13

Red Theater Omaha closes its 2013-2014 season with Red is the New Black, presented as part of the Omaha Under the Radar Festival. In a seasonal grand finale, this particular show is the usual 30 plays in 60 minutes format, but showcases an additional emphasis on social and gender politics. The result is a dynamic and challenging production that surprises and delights.

There is only one performance - Sunday, July 13th at 3:00pm.

The show is hosted at the Bancroft Street Market (10th & Bancroft Street). Colloquy, a jazz inspired improvisation band, opens the show. Tickets are only $10.00 at the door for the event; festival and day passes are also available online.

It is the mission of Red Theater to honor audiences by asking dangerous questions with compelling theatrical interaction. We are inspired by American traditions like vaudeville, slam poetry, cinematic realism, and music videos. We take advantage of those things that can only be done in live performance.

In short - We ask dangerous questions, theatrically.
