Tulsa Performing Arts Center Closes THE JUNGLE BOOK, 9/11
Tulsa Performing Arts Center presents THE JUNGLE BOOK September 8 - 11 at Liddy Doenges Theatre.
Joseph Robinette's retelling of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale follows the life of young Mowgli who is raised by wolves and befriended by Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther. As he learns the "Laws of the Jungle," Mowgli meets many fascinating creatures, including Kaa the snake, Hathi the elephant and Rann the parrot. He even faces the ferocious tiger Shere Khan, and his sidekick, Tabaqui the jackal.
Enter the incredible jungles of India and experience the excitement and humor along with the struggle of good versus evil, the value of friendship and family, and the importance of loyalty.
The Jungle Book is directed by Joshua and Mindy Barker. Anthony Conroy stars as Mowgli.
Tickets are $15, $12 for seniors and students; $10 for children ages 3-12, and free for ages 2 and under.
