A rambunctious, heartfelt solo play about becoming diabetic on a Shakespeare tour. This lyrical, vulnerable confession seamlessly interweaves childhood memories, queer history, and passages of Shakespeare, in an authentic night of storytelling with no fourth wall. It’s a hopeful story about letting go of the life we’re desperately chasing, and sitting still long enough to savor the life we already have.

Regional: Broadway’s Slave Play (Mark Taper Forum), Immortal Longings (Zach Theatre – world premiere by Terrence McNally), Bedlam’s Sense and Sensibility (American Repertory Theatre, Folger Theater – Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Ensemble), Pericles (Berkeley Rep), A Christmas Carol (Geva), and many others.
