Wagner College Theatre Presents THE DANCE PROJECT 2018 The award winning Wagner College Theatre presents The Dance Project 2018 from March 1 through 4 at the Stage One Studio Theatre.

Inspired and created by WCT Music Director Dr. Lauri Young (WCT's Nine and Titanic), The Dance Project will feature original choreography by WCT Dance Head Rusty Curcio (WCT's La Cage aux Folles and Iolanthe).

This year's Dance Project is an entirely original piece of theatre created with an astounding range of music and dance is a sensory journey into life's most difficult questions. The Shostakovich Piano Trio No. 2 will be performed in its entirety by Dr. Lauri Young, Izabella Liss Cohen and Natalia Galebsky, while dancers embody the emotional journey of the music. The cast will also be performing six songs from Tony Award-winner Adam Guettel's extraordinary song cycle, Myths and Hymns.

The Dance Project cast features Madi Asgeirsson, Justin Flores, Trisha Hirano, Sabrina Kalman, Maddie Kendall, Francesca Litterio, Rebecca Marlowe, Isabelle Miller, Michelle Morris, Michael Motkowski, Ali Nitowski, Tyler Ross. The Dance Project Vocal Ensemble features Miranda Abbott, Kevin Atwater, Gabby Baker, Jason Biss, Zack Blanchette, Bailey Claffey, Maggie Eley, Travis Harley, Dana Kluczyk (Swing). Serving as Dance Captains are Trisha Hirano, Sabrina Kalman, Maddie Kendall, Francesca Litterio, Isabelle Miller, and Tyler Ross.

The Dance Project creative team: Alan Michael Smith (Costume Design), Lexi Takaki (Lighting Design), Katie Wakeman (Production Technical Director), Kate Mazzotta (Production Stage Manager), and Anna Kruger-Dull (Assistant Stage Manager).

Performances of The Dance Project 2018 are Thursday, March 1 at 8:00pm, Friday, March 2 at 8:00pm, Saturday, March 3 at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, and Sunday, March 4 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 by calling the Wagner College Box Office at (718) 390-3259. Wagner College students attend free with current ID.
