Theatricals Announces Full Cast Of 'Stain'
Theatricals will present the world premiere of Tony Glazer's new play STAIN, directed by Scott C. Embler. STAIN will begin performances on Friday, July 11, open on July 23 and run through August 23, 2008 at The Kirk at Theatre Row (410 West 42 Street).
STAIN is an edgy, dark comedy that centers on the quickly-crumbling life of 15-year-old Thomas and the complicated relationships he has with his father, mother, grandmother, best friend George, and his much-older girlfriend, Carmen. When dark family secrets are revealed, Thomas is confronted with a choice that will either save him or mark him forever.
The cast includes: Karina Arroyave (Film: Crash, "24", Theatre: Once Removed, Public's School of the America's), Joanna Bayless (Sweet Bird of Youth), Peter Brensinger (Film: Red Cockroaches), Summer Crockett Moore (Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, IT Award for Best Featured Actress), Jim O'Connor (Film: Sweet Home Alabama, Last Request, Mystic Pizza. TV: "The Secret Life of...") and Tobias Segal (MTC's From Up Here - Drama League & Drama Desk Award nominations, Playwrights' Doris To Darlene).
