By: A.A. Cristi Mar. 11, 2020

On Sunday April 5 at 7PM, Broadway star and Jonathan Larson award-winning writer Cheryl Stern will bring her critically-acclaimed off-Broadway smash hit, the autobiographical musical "SHOES & BAGGAGE" to Asylum/NY! In this intimate and insightful 75-minute solo odyssey,

Cheryl portrays over two dozen characters to tell this wild, hilarious, and heartbreaking story of her own insatiable urges to purchase and possess beautiful things! Cheryl digs deep to explore the feelings that propel these shopping sprees! The journey includes stories from her escapades while in the cast of the star-studded Broadway revival of The Women to her stint as coach and host on The Home Shopping Network!

All told with an original score....with lyrics by Cheryl Stern, and music by Drama Desk nominated and Emmy Award winning composer Tom Kochan. Lay down your charge cards 'cuz you don't want to miss sharing this special evening with this brilliant talent!
