By:

Richard Pryor, Jr. is set to join Beautiful Soup Theater for their one-night-only concert celebration of Broadway's biggest flops on Sunday, January 26th at 7:00pm.

Richard Pryor, Jr. is the son of late famed comedian Richard Pryor, and has appeared on stage, television and film. He will lend his soulful and stunning voice to a song from the short-lived musical The Scottsboro Boys.
Beautiful Soup Theater, known for their revivals of Rags, A Doll's Life and Moose Murders, continues their concert series at The TAI Group with their third annual celebration of Broadway's biggest flops on January 26th, 2014 at 7:00pm. The one-night-only concert will feature stories, songs, reviews and highlights from some of The Great White Way's biggest bombs!

Audiences can expect to hear songs from musicals like Goldilocks, How, Now, Dow Jones, Juno, Lestat, The Goodbye Girl, Pipe Dream, Follies and more.

Pryor joins the previously announced Morgan DeTogne, who stars in Beautiful Soup's upcoming production of Liliom as Julie. Also featured are Kimberly Faye Greenberg (Lift, One Night With Fanny Brice, Ghostlight), Netanel Bellaishe (Lift), Marc Castle, Mario Castro, Barnaby Edwards (Rags), Erin Elizabeth Eichhorn (Rags, Lift), Anna Kirkland (Moose Murders, Rags), Cara Picone, Samantha Mercado-Tudda (Lift), Kim Rogers, Dorothy Stone, RAndy Taylor (Lift), Greg Uliasz and Maggie Wirth.

All proceeds from this special concert evening will benefit Beautiful Soup's revival of Liliom. All tickets are $20 and available now at http://www.showclix.com/event/3794809. Seating is limited and advanced reservations are recommended. The TAI Group is located at 150 West 30th Street, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

Beautiful Soup's production of Liliom, the classic play that inspired the musical Carousel, will open at The Celebration of Whimsy (formerly The Living Theatre) on February 26th, 2014. Learn more about the production at www.beautifulsouptheatercollective.org.
