Photo Flash: TITAN Celebrates Opening of THIS PRISON WHERE I LIVE

Long Island City-based Titan Theatre Company opened it's second show of their critically acclaimed 2013-14 season on Wednesday January 22nd with the World Premiere of the highly anticipated second installment of Angela Iannone''s "Edwin Booth Trilogy" THIS PRISON WHERE I LIVE. THIS PRISON WHERE I LIVE transports audiences to Edwin Booth''s 1879 run of William Shakespeare''s Richard II at the McVicker Theatre in Chicago. Stirring drama unfolds as the ghost of Booth''s infamous brother, assassin John Wilkes Booth, pays a visit to Edwin at the McVicker. The show has a LIMITED ENGAGEMENT at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City through January 26, 2014. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening night festivities below!

"Our opening night of this brilliant new work was a smashing success," said Artistic Director Lenny Banovez. "Angela as written a beautiful play and we are so proud to be able to share it with our TITAN audiences. It is the perfect choice for us to do right now. As we move forward and grow we want to show our Queens based following, as well as the rest of the boroughs, that TITAN is able to provide strong quality work across all genres, not just Shakespeare, and THIS PRISON WHERE I LIVE is our first big step in that direction."

The cast of This Prison Where I Live stars Reese Madigan (Broadway''s Holiday, Abe Lincoln in Illinois) as Edwin Booth as well as Titan company member Tristan Colton as John Wilkes Booth. The cast will also feature Titan Theatre Company Alums Tressa Preston as Mary McVicker, Susan Maris as Mary Delvin, and Jake Russo as Mark Grey.

This Prison Where I Live is produced by Titan Theatre Company Managing Director Kevin Beebee.

The creative team for This Prison Where I Live features Alan Piotrowicz (Lighting Design), Jesse Michael Mothershed (Assistant Director), Jasmine Roberts (Set Design), Liz Lundberg (Scenic Artist), Jessica Wallin (Props Design) and Katherine White (Stage Management). Angela Iannone will direct the work.

Tickets for This Prison Where I Live are currently on sale and can be purchased online at www.TitanTheatreCompany.com, by calling the Titan Theatre Company Box Office at (347) 738-5602, or at the door. Advance sales are $15. Tickets purchased at the door are $18.
