"Beyond Stonewall: Vital Voices in American Playwriting" Features Terrence McNally, Larry Kramer, Matthew Lopez, and Lucy Thurber

In the decades since Stonewall, as society's attitudes towards the LGBTQ community have dramatically evolved and progressed, so has the presence on stage of LGBTQ characters and voices. As part of its months-long series of events recognizing the legacy and impact of Stonewall in its 50thanniversary year, NYU will bring together some of the most prominent activists and creative voices in American theater to offer a provocative take on Stonewall and the stage in "Beyond Stonewall: Vital Voices in American Playwriting."

NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place, Manhattan
