The 13th Street Repertory Theater premieres a controversial new play written and directed by Jacqueline Wade, BLACK PANTHER WOMEN.
The men of the Black Panther Party changed the course of history in the turbulent 60s & 70s... what about the women?
BPW boasts an all-female cast playing both the men and the women of the militant organization which sought to transform a system of racial oppression.
The 13th Street Repertory Theater, 50 West 13th Street, NYC, hosts a limited run of this powerful new work.
Current performance schedule: Friday, April 22, Sunday, April 24, and Sunday, May 1 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, May 11 at 7:00 pm; and Sunday, May 15 and 22 at 3:00 pm.
