First Woman On The Moon Returns To UCB Theater September 5th
Veronica Osorio's solo show First Woman On The Moon will return to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre at 9:30pm on Monday, September 5. Tickets are $5 which includes admission to both First Woman on the Moon and Someone's in the Doghouse, and can be reserved here.
With the Current American President's popularity among females declining, NASA is forced to run a Willy Wonka-style contest offering common American women the chance to finally go to the moon. The five women, however, who get their hands on the golden tickets are anything but common. Join a cantankerous grandmother, a prostitute turned business whiz, a depressed mommyblogger, an energetic tween, and a visionary as they ponder a lunar life.
First Woman On The Moon was written by and stars Veronica Osorio. Veronica, known for Venezuelan feature film Boves and as Vag Magazine's Heavy Flo, is a current cast member of UCB house sketch team Fambly. She has performed at UCB with former Maude team High Treason and in This Is About Smith, an official selection of SketchFest NYC. She has performed in MTV Tr3s' ESL, and with improv groups Kraken and Los Improvisosos Peligrosos (Charlie Todd, Horation Sanz). Caitlin Tegart (Vag Magazine, The Pretty Good Sports Show) directs.
