Black Moon Theatre Company presents a one-person-show created, performed and directed by Alessio Bordoni, THE PONZI SCHEME, at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre, July 31 - August 5, 2012.

The Ponzi Scheme is a biographical play on the life of Italian born swindler Charles Ponzi (1882 - 1949), inventor of the notorious Ponzi Scheme. This original piece is a journey through the fascinating experiences of Ponzi's life. From the day he decided to leave his native country for the U.S.A. to the time he achieved fame and prosperity at the expense of fifty thousand people. Bordoni's play is an advocacy against the evils of capitalism when in the hands of amoral organizations and /or individuals. It exposes the mindset of a class of society whose primary aim in life is the pursuit of profit.

THE PONZI SCHEME stars Alessio Bordoni*. The production team includes Jason Sturm (Lighting), Tessa Chandler (Movement Direction) and Jocelyn Goldstein (Costume Design). Collage for Showbill by India Evans.
