SHOTZ! is a theatrical pressure cooker that every month pairs 6 groups of actors, writers, and directors together to create brand new 10-minute plays, and perform them the first Monday of the month (but due to the holiday this month it's the second Monday!) at The Kraine Theater, 85 E. 4th St., NY. Unified by three common criteria, each collection of plays captures a variety of perspectives around the month's theme, and is the best, most consistent showcase of up-and-coming talent in NYC theater.

SHOTZ! features a mix of Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater, and TV talent, with six new plays coming at you the first Monday of every month!

Shotz: A True Underdog Story is an evening of sports-themed, action-packed, heartfelt, short plays, that will take you on a journey and make you cheer on your theatrical teams -- over a beer! This month, each play will feature SPORTS!

Rules of the game (aka conditions for the month):
1. Each play must include a sport or competition.
2. Each play must include at least 15 seconds of the "Chariots of Fire" theme song (and SLOW MOTION never hurt anyone...)
3. Each play must include the line: "You're almost there!"
