Amas Musical Theatre and their Six O'Clock Musical Theatre Lab will present NELLIE BEEZER'S MELTING POT FOLLIES OF 1922, October 11 and 12.

It's the roaring twenties and former showgirl Nellie Beezer is teaching American history and English to a disorderly bunch of immigrants. Under Nellie's iron-fisted direction, the class of 1922 celebrates the 4th of July in song and dance as they learn about life, liberty, and the pursuit of racial purity.

The show is written by Phillip George and Kathy Griffith with additional material by
Gerard Alessandri and David Caldwell.  FOLLIES stars Beth Nir Chalamish, Jillian Cox, Beth Glover, Mark Fisher, Lori Hammel, Joseph Melendez, Kevin McGlynn, Kelvin Moon Loh, Kristi Roosmaa and Lee Summers.

Performances are October 11 @ 6:00 PM and October 12 @ 3:00 & 7:00 PM at the Ripley Grier Studios located at 520 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor.

For Reservations call 212-563-2565, or email boxoffice@amasmusical.org.
