(10/18/2010) - Yesterday, October 17, The Town Hall presented Broadway Originals. The afternoon featured songs and memories with performers reprising songs they introduced either in the original Broadway production or revival. This three-concert series, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for THE TOWN HALL, took place over one weekend and included Broadway Melody Makers on Friday, October 15th and Betty Buckley in Concert on Saturday, October 16 at 8PM.

(10/18/2010) - Performing as part of THE TOWN HALL's Sixth Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival was Betty Buckley on Saturday, October 16th at 8:00 PM. Buckley is one of only a handful of women who can be referred to as a real Broadway star and a true legend. Tony Award winner and three-time Grammy nominee, she has acted in films, starred on television, and on Broadway. Buckley made her Broadway debut in 1969 and has been called 'The Voice of Broadway' by New York Magazine. Her rendition of 'Memory' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, established her reputation. She has recorded 12 solo albums and now tours extensively across the U.S. each year. She is also a composer; her first recording contains mostly songs she wrote.

(10/09/2010) - This past Wednesday and Thursday, host Jim Caruso and musical director Billy Stritch oversaw another Hollywood edition of Cast Party, the wildly successful open mic night, which tours the country celebrating local talent. The event, made up of impromptu musical performances, has been running every Monday at Birdland in New York City for the past eight years.

(10/05/2010) - A meet and greet was recently held for the cast and crew of the AFTER THE REVOLUTION at Playwrights Horizons, a new play by Amy Herzog (Missed Connections, 508 at Ars Nova, Hungry at EST). Directed by Carolyn Cantor (Essential Self-Defense at PH, Pumpgirl, Orange Water Flower), the production will begin previews Thursday, October 21 at 7:30 PM. With an Opening Night set for Tuesday, November 9 at 7PM, the limited engagement will play through Sunday, November 28 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Engeman Theater production of Damn Yankees, came out to support his ARCHBISHOP SUPREME TARTUFFE director Alfred Preisser and choreographer Tracy Jack at the West End Theater in New York last night, where the Dog Run Rep world premiere of Jeff Cohen's The Man Who Ate Michael Rockefeller, directed by Mr. Preisser and choreographed by and featuring Ms. Jack, is currently playing a limited engagement through October 3. After the show, castmembers were delighted to meet the Broadway vet.

Teresa Giudice, Ashley Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo will assume the roles of the Wedding Officiator, Connie Scuccifuffio, Toniann Naso, Angela Pinnunziato and Maria Pinnunziato, respectively, in the Off-Broadway comedy now playing at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street. Dina Manzo, one of the stars of seasons one and two of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' and a producer of My Big Gay Italian Wedding, will make a special introduction before each of these performances.
