The Zipper Factory Theater will host Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? on October 13 at 10pm, featuring some of Broadway and Off-Broadway’s finest talents.

The concert is a one-night event of original music and parody, satirizing Broadway’s current obsession with Hollywood, by Ryan Bogner (concept, lyrics), Mishaela Faucher (lyrics) and Jason Michael Snow (music). The three writers host an evening of selections from three "original" musicals based on popular films, with much of the material performed by Broadway veterans hand-picked because of their expertise in performing in big budget musical adaptations of movies.

Among those set to appear are Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde), Celina Carvajal (Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods, Tarzan), Katrina Dideriksen (Hairspray), Josh Franklin (Legally Blonde), Mary Faber (Saved), Maurice Murphy (Catch Me If You Can), Steve Rosen (Spamalot), Travis Nesbitt (Altar Boyz), Stephen Agosto (Beauty and the Beast), Jillian Giacchi (Wicked, Japan) and Haley Podschun (Hairspray) with Shannon Amiry, Jenn Seracuse, Jessica Hershberg, Jordan Fife Hunt, Megan Gerlach, Nic Rouleau and Stephanie Umoh.

The evening will feature direction by Travis Greisler (Assistant Director, Papermill's High School Musical) and Austin Regan and music direction by Christopher D. Littlefield, with the Julian Peterson Trio (www.julianpeterson.com)

Tickets are on sale now through the Zipper Factory Theater at www.thezipperfactory.com or  212.352.3101. For more information about the concert, visit www.heyyouknowwhatproductions.com.
