The Group Theatre Too's COUNT TO TEN Extends At The Hudson Guild Theater 10/28-11/1

By:

The Group Theatre Too's new musical, Count To Ten, which just finished a successful run at the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), received additional performances next week at the Hudson Guild Theater. Critics have called the show "A masterful gem of entertainment that young and old can enjoy." Dance Spirit Magazine said, "It brings a young ensemble of talent to the stage." This award winning musical received standing ovations during its NYMF run at the Theater at St. Clements, while gaining sponsorship from Broadway Dance Center and Converse.

Count to Ten follows the story of a tap-dancing writer's whose Broadway ambitions are thwarted because his new musical lacks a real love story. Forced to develop the show at a performing arts camp full of spoiled, rich, and in some cases neglected stars of tomorrow, he finds he can no longer tap-dance around his issues and succumbs to the true call of his heart. Count to Ten is a cross-generational, dance-filled, upbeat musical everyone can "tap" into! Count To Ten is directed and choreographed by Broadway, film and television veteran Michael Blevins, hailed by Peter Filichia as "A wizard of a director-choreographer."

Jim Furlong of the The Hudson Guild Theater invited The Group Theatre Too (GTT) to present Count To Ten for an extended run from October 28th to November 1st. GTT strives to bring quality entertainment to audiences of all ages at an affordable price. The Hudson Guild production offers many discounted tickets including twenty five percent off when you present your Broadway Dance Center card at the box office. GTT is also giving away ten free tickets per day for the next ten days to patrons who visit www.counttotenthemusical.com and register to win.

Count To Ten will run October 28th, 29th and 30th at 8pm and October 31st and November 1st at 2pm at the Hudson Guild Theater, 441 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10001. Tickets are $18 and groups of ten or more pay $10. Purchase tickets by calling 212-567-1535 or visit www.counttotenthemusical.com.
