National Black Theatre Launches Founding Members Circle Memberships
The Harlem institution, led by Sade Lythcott and Jonathan McCrory, offers perks including access to IMITATION OF LIFE.
National Black Theatre has announced a brand new membership system emphasizing cultural stewardship, artistic proximity and community impact.
In an effort to foster relationships that stretch beyond ticket transactions, these limited-quantity membership packages create a fast track to foster the building of a community of theatre enthusiasts who want access to some of the highly anticipated productions, multidisciplinary community events, and exclusive behind-the-scenes invitations included in NBT's 2025/2026 season aptly named The Alchemy of Return: Remembering is a Radical Act. Packages also include early ticket purchasing access to Imitation of Life, co-produced with The Shed.
In an unique partnership, the first one hundred Founding Members, across all tiers, will also receive a one year membership to The Shed. This comes in addition to benefits such as:
- Early ticket access to MainStage and Broadway productions within the 25/26 season and Imitation of Life, which is the kickoff to NBT's 26/27 season
- Invitations to exclusive cultural events
- Access to artist conversations and cultural programming
- Recognition as founding supporter in playbills and on the NBT website
