Wolfbane Productions' 2016 Season to Feature 'SPAMALOT,' BUBBLE BOY & More

Wolfbane Productions has announced their highly-anticipated 2016 season line up. Next fall the theatre will present two main stage shows, a Broadway favorite and an exclusive, professional premiere! The 2016 season launches on August 11, 2016 with the Tony Award winning hit MONTY PYTHON'S: SPAMALOT. Adapted from the comedic classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this musical parody follows the quest of King Arthur and his knights of the roundtable. SPAMALOT will be directed by Wolfbane's own, Dustin Williams, 'Best of the Burg' winner for BEST SHOW with A Midsummer Night's Dream and Evil Dead: the Musical.

The second show of the season is the professional debut of BUBBLE BOY: THE MUSICAL!, opening September 22, 2016! Based on the Jake Gyllenhaal movie of the same name, BUBBLE BOY tells the story of Jimmy Livingston's cross-country adventure to follow love, despite being born without immunities and needing to live in a plastic bubble. This family friendly comedy was written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, of Despicable Me, Horton Hears a Who, and The Lorax fame. Wolfbane is thrilled to announce they will be hosting these prestigious writers when they visit Central Virginia in August to speak to local students and patrons.

By popular demand, Wolfbane is also excited for the returns of 'Best of the Burg' winner: Beers and Ballads (March 12, 2016), Feast in the Forest (July 30 2016), the Crawford Farm Ghost Tour (October 20-29), and Wolves of Winter (December 4, 2016). Both SPAMALOT and BUBBLE BOY: THE MUSICAL! will take place at the Wolf P.A.C. located at 524 Country Club Rd in Appomattox, VA. Local Virginia auditions will take place March 13-15, 2016; New York City auditions: April 4-7, 2016.
