Sandra Reaves-Phillips to Perform at Rhythm Hall, 4/5-7
Richmond CenterStage wraps up its inaugural U.S. Trust Life is a Cabaret! Series: A Celebration of the Great American Song Book by welcoming award-winning Broadway star Sandra Reaves-Phillips to Rhythm Hall as she performs her show entitled Me, Myself, and You.
Originally from South Carolina, Sandra Reaves-Phillips’ career includes a film credit in the critically-acclaimed 1986 filmRound Midnight (1986) and a recipient of a Woodie Award for her work on Broadway in the revival of Raisin. Reaves-Phillips has also been a frequent guest singer and performer on “Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion” and has performed alongside the legendary late musician Ray Charles.
“CenterStage is thrilled to have a dynamic performer of stage and screen like Sandra Reaves-Phillips round out our first-ever Cabaret series,” said CenterStage Executive Director Richard M. Parison, Jr. “These special performances have gotten rave reviews from critics and audiences alike, and I know Me, Myself, and You will be no different.”
Me, Myself, and You is an intimate tour-de-force performance by the international singer-actress, Sandra Reaves-Phillips, who sensually reels you in with a song, while humorously making you laugh at self and life and blows the roof off with her blues. The Hollywood Reporter has called Ms. Reaves-Phillips “an atomic force of a performer,” and Richmond audiences can catch her for one weekend only.
Showtimes for Me, Myself, and You will be April 5 – 7 at 7 p.m., with a special 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 8. Ticket prices for each show in the U.S. Trust Life is a Cabaret! Series are:
