The play, centers around two young men and their colleagues brainstorming ideas for a play to enter into the New York Musical Theatre Festival. As the men struggle to conjecture a performance idea, they humorously and melodically chronicle the events from the inception and finally leading up to the production of their play, hence the play is about the creative struggle that conceived the play.
