Vagabond Rep's Digital division is looking to cast three boys and three girls for a virtual scene for a scene showcase coming later this summer.
Plot breakdown: In the tradition of the famous sequence from the movie Bambi. Three boys, life long friends, are prepared for a summer of adventure, games, and fun. They've made a pact that they'll all stick together, and not get sidetracked by thoughts of girls and love and mushy stuff like that. However, the wise old farmer concludes that sooner or later, Twitterpation will get you. The boys scoff at this notion, not knowing that soon, they'll all be Twitterpated by three local girls in town.
Seeking the following roles, all roles aged 10-12
Boy 1: The natural leader of the trio of boys. He is assertive and carries himself like he's 10 feet tall. (He represents Bambi from the movie)
Boy 2: A jokester, very animated and energetic. (Represents Thumper)
Boy 3: Shy, nervous, and a bit on the quiet side. He follows the lead of the two other boys (represents Flower the Skunk).
Girl 1: Like Boy 1, she is assertive and headstrong, knowing exactly what she wants. (She represents Faline the doe in Bambi)
Girl 2: Very giggly and bubbly, quite energetic (represents the girl bunny Thumper falls in love with in Bambi).
Girl 3: Tall, bewitching, very beautiful. She is a girl of few words, letting her actions speak for themselves. (Represents the girl skunk Flower falls in love with in Bambi).
