THE PRODUCERS - Bergen County Players

Bergen County Players (BCP) is thrilled to announce open auditions for The Producers on June 9th, 11th, and 13th. BCP is seeking a dynamic cast of strong comic actors who sing and move well to play main, supporting, and featured ensemble roles for its 94th season opener. The Producers is a satirical musical comedy and farce about two unlikely partners—a scheming, larger-than-life Broadway producer and a timid, anxious accountant—who set out to make the worst Broadway show ever and end up creating a surprise hit.

With music and lyrics by the legendary Mel Brooks and a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, this Tony and Grammy award-winning musical features a stunning array of beloved, hilarious songs, including “I Wanna Be a Producer” and the infamous “Springtime for Hitler.” BCP’s production will be directed by Alan Demovsky.
