The smash UK musical theater hit, THE OSMONDS: A NEW MUSICAL is making its North American Debut. After 200+ sold out performances, this national premiere is looking for talented singers, dancers, and actors to portray the real-life characters of THE OSMONDS.

AUDITION VIDEOS DUE: Monday, September 1, 2025

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Mon. - Sat., January 5 – March 7, 2026

PERFORMANCE DATES: Th. - Sat., March 10 - April 4, 2026

PAY: $150-$200 (principal roles); $100-$150 (ensemble)

OVERVIEW

Fresh off its world premiere in the UK, come see the musical phenomenon that has swept Europe! The Osmonds: A New Musical tells the true story behind the famed boy band’s rise to the top. With your favorite Osmond hits like “One Bad Apple,” and “Puppy Love,” jaw-dropping choreography, and Broadway-worthy vocals, this show is a Covey Center exclusive.

From their star performances on The Andy Williams Show to the arrival of Donnie and Marie, and the mistake that changed their lives forever, The Osmonds: A New Musical is a story of success, failure, redemption, and family. Directed by Tim Threlfall and Choreographed by Becky Wright Phillips.

CAST

Alan Osmond - The oldest of the group, the band's creative leader, choreographer, and co-writer. Prefer someone who plays piano and guitar.

Wayne Osmond – A talented young man who learns to play 8 instruments as a member of the Osmonds, Wayne arranges music and is focused on pursuing a career in rock and roll.

Merrill Osmond - The lead vocalist and bassist for The Osmonds, he is the ‘businessman’ of the Osmond boys.

Jay Osmond - Leading male role and narrator of the story. The family peacemaker. This is Jay’s story.

Donny Osmond – The youngest of the singing Osmond boys. Actor needs a strong falsetto/head voice. Keyboard skills a plus.

Marie Osmond – Strong vocals especially in country and western genre. Will likely play additional smaller roles as well. The only Osmond sister in a family of seven brothers.

Olive Osmond - Strong actor. Minimal ensemble singing. Mother of the nine Osmond children. Loving matriarch respected by all. (Age range: 40-60)

George Osmond - Strong actor. Father of the Osmond tribe. Former military man. Loves his family but is ‘old school’ and rules with a strong arm. (Age range: 40-60)

Ensemble - Three men and three women. All must be accomplished actor/singer/dancers in that order. Will need to create unique characterizations for each of many smaller roles throughout the show.
