SYLVIA - Hanover Little Theatre Non Equity Auditions

Hanover Little Theatre is looking for actors for the second show in the group’s 66th season.

Auditions for Sylvia will take place at the theatre (360 Blooming Grove Road, Hanover) at 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 22 and 23. Sally Chase will direct the comedy which calls for a cast of two men and two women. The show runs Nov. 14-16 and 20-23. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to audition.

The A.R. Gurney comedy chronicles the funny and sometimes touching “problems” that arise when a couple adopts a dog. Greg puts his marriage to Kate in serious jeopardy when he brings home Sylvia, but after a series of hilarious and touching complications, Greg and Kate learn to compromise, and Sylvia becomes a valued part of their lives.
