Auditions for SUMMER SHORTS at Town Players

Town Players of Newtown announces auditions for SUMMER SHORTS on Sunday and Monday, June 19 & 20, from 7-9 PM at The Little Theatre.

SUMMER SHORTS is an evening of short plays written by members of the Applied Theater Class at Garner Correctional Institute in Newtown. These entertaining and insightful works give voice to the experience of otherwise silent members of our community.

Elizabeth Young of Newtown will direct.

The production calls for 6-7 multiracial men of various ages and 2-4 multiracial women of various ages.

No appointment is necessary. All roles are available, and sides will be provided at the audition.

Rehearsals begin at the end of June, and the production runs Friday and Saturdayevenings, August 26 - September 4, with one Sunday matinee.

Auditions will take place at The Little Theatre, 18 Orchard Hill Road, Newtown.
