The winner of eight Tony Awards (including Best Musical) and a Grammy Award, Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality, and rock and roll that is exhilarating audiences across the nation like no other musical in years. Set against he backdrop of late-19th century Germany when adults held all the cards, Spring Awakening deals with the complexities of adolescence without understanding what it means…or the consequences.

This show contains strong adult language, sexual content & situations, and references to suicide and death.

Director Jason Tucker and Musical Director Justin Havard are looking for a diverse group of smart, energetic, and adventurous young people to fill these roles. We’ve expanded the age ranges a little, but in general we’re looking for actors who credibly appear school-age (excepting the two Adult characters). This show addresses adult themes, employs profanity, and includes sexual situations. There will be no nudity. Anyone under the age of 18 will need signed consent from a parent or guardian.

PARENTAL PERMISSION REQUIRED FOR
ACTORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18.
