SINGLE CARROT THEATRE ANNOUNCES OPEN CALL AUDITIONS FOR PINK MILK!
When:
Sunday, January 6th 1pm-6pm
Monday, January 7th, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Callbacks:
Sunday, January 20th 1pm-3pm
Monday, January 21st 7pm-9pm
Auditionees may sign up for a 5 minute slot. Interested parties should email Ben Kleymeyer for an audition slot at bkleymeyer@singlecarrot.com.
Please indicate your availability for all of the audition dates. Please direct any questions or concerns to Ben Kleymeyer.
Please bring a headshot and resume and 2 contrasting monologues to the audition. Monologues should be no longer than 1 minute each.
Single Carrot Theatre is specifically casting roles for Actors of Color and LGBTQ+ identifying Actors.
Single Carrot Theatre strives to bring greater diversity to the stage. Actors of color and actors with other diverse backgrounds and identifications are strongly encouraged to audition.

Once upon a time, there was a boy called Alan who dreamed in Technicolor. In this modern take on the life of renowned codebreaker Alan Turing, electrifying music and a surreal text take us to the heart of a genius who longed for connection in a world he couldnât understand. The psychedelic and strange weave together to create a deeply human story of love, loss, creation, and destruction. Find the man behind the machines in this rich fantasy of poisoned apples, loving robots, and the father of the modern computer.
More About Ariel:
Ariel Zetina is a latinx trans female playwright, composer, and DJ based out of Chicago. Her plays include British Honduras Fantasy (Trans Theatre Festival, NYC; dev. @ Berkeley Rep); Pink Milk (Oracle Theatre, Chicago); Lovedrug (dev. @ Magic Theatre, SF). She is a resident DJ at Smartbar, the oldest still running house-music club in North America. Her debut EP Cyst was released on Paris label Boukan Records in September. Upcoming: Commissions for House Theatre of Chicago & Pride Films & Plays.
