Auditions for No Sex Please, We’re British

The Windham Theatre Guild is holding auditions for No Sex Please, We’re British on July 7 & 8, 2014 at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church located at 199 Valley Street in Willimantic (corner of Valley & High Streets just 3 blocks from the theatre).

A young bride, married to an assistant bank manager, innocently sends a mail order for some Scandinavian glassware. What comes is Scandinavian pornography. What’s to be done with this veritable flood of pornography, photos, books, films and eventually girls that threaten to engulf this happy couple? Things are complicated when the man’s mother, boss, a visiting bank inspector, a police superintendent, and a muddled friend become involved. A classic British comedy that delighted both London and Broadway audiences.

The play is a wonderful British farce that offers tremendous acting opportunities for eleven actors to delight audiences. Brian Ballou who has appeared numerous times on the WTG stage will be directing what promises to be a very fun show. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of it.
