SYNOPSIS:
Rudyard Kipling has a son named Jack that he wants badly to go off to fight the Germans in World War I for God and Country. Jack is turned down 3 times due to his severe near-sightedness. Rudyard pulls some strings because he is a celebrity, gets him in as a leader of an Irish brigade. Scenes of war in the trenches in France are powerful and Jack is lost in battle. After years of searching, one of Jack’s men is found who was with him when he died. The truth is hard on all concerned. A powerful story with a good script. Check it out.
