JPAS THEATRE KIDS! COMPETITION TEAM - National Performing Arts Festival Non Equity Auditions

Performers must schedule a 5-minute audition slot from 9AM-11AM. Performers should bring sheet music in the appropriate key and prepare 32 bars of 2 contrasting musical theatre-style songs. An accompanist will be provided. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your audition time to sign in. If you are late, your audition slot will be canceled. There is a required Dance Call at 1pm on Saturday, August 23 at JPAS Conservatory Studio that EVERYONE must attend. (Please arrive to the theatre no later than 12:45pm).

Callbacks (If necessary) will be held Saturday, August 23 at 3pm after the dance call.

*Please note, there is a minimum fee of $50 per month to participate in this program in addition to travel expenses and participation fees associated with the festival competition. Competition Team is a selective, competitive program with limited enrollment capacity.

The JPAS Theatre Kids! Competition Team is an intensive program that focuses on performance in a musical and teamwork. It prepares young actors to compete as a team at National Performing Arts Festival. Members of the team study and prepare an abridged version of a musical theatre production and compete against other youth theatre groups from across the nation.
