HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL SHOWCASE - The NextStop Theatre Company Non Equity Auditions

The NextStop Theatre Company is pleased to announce auditions for its first High School Musical Theatre Showcase. As part of its Inaugural season and summer cabaret series The NextStop Theatre Company will produce an evening of performances by rising college freshman majoring in Musical Theatre at an accredited College or University.

The students chosen:

• Will be featured singing two musical theatre selections to be approved by the producer of the concert series.

• Will have an opportunity to work on their pieces with industry professionals either one on one and or in a workshop/master class setting prior to the performance.

The performance will be held at NextStop Theatre Company’s Industrial Strength Theatre located at 269 Sunset Park Drive in Herndon VA on

Sunday evening July13, 6:30pm, with a technical rehearsal earlier that day. Time TBA

Audition will consist of two 16-32 bar excerpts from musical theatre repertoire one up tempo and one ballad. Initial auditions are by video submission only with possible call backs at a later date. TBD
