HARPER ENSEMBLE THEATRE Announces Auditions for GYPSY Book by Arthur Laurents Music by Jule Styne Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim Date: Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3, 2015 Time: 7:00PM – 10:00 PM Audition Location: Harper College Liberal Arts Center Drama Lab located at 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL (Building L, room L109), parking lot #2. Pay: No Pay Equity / Non Equity: Non-equity Type / Restrictions: Director Kevin Long, Musical Director Aaron Benham and Choreographer Cameron Turner, seek strong ensemble of dedicated actors/singers/dancers. We are seeking to cast 10 Men, 4 Boys (ages 10-14), 11 Women and 4 Girls (ages 10-14). Please note that the director and his staff are committed to creating a professional atmosphere and rehearsal process. All roles are open. You do not need to be a Harper College student to audition. Time Commitment: Company Meeting Monday, September 14, 2015. Rehearsals begin September 16, with the production opening November 13, 2015 and running through November 22, 2015. Material to Prepare: Please prepare a 32-bar musical selection of choice. Bring music; accompanist provided. Bring H/R.
