Cedar Fair WinterFest (Nationwide) - RWS Entertainment Group Non Equity Auditions

Cedar Fair is seeking Dancers and Costume Character Performers for WinterFest at various theme parks nationwide with casting services provided by RWS Entertainment Group. Producing Company: Cedar Fair Theme Park Performance Locations: Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, MO); Kings Island (Cincinnati, OH); Carowinds (Charlotte, NC) Casting Company: RWS Entertainment Group Franklyn Warfield, Senior Casting Director Katie Proctor, Associate Casting Director WinterFest 2017 will include It’s the Charlie Brown's Christmas Spectacular, a holiday-themed live show featuring the Peanuts characters with both Dancers and Costume Characters. Performances will run November 24-26, December 1-3, 8-10, 15-23, 26-30, 2017. Rehearses November 10-22. SEEKING: Non-Equity performers, over the age of 18, with dynamic personalities, who are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park, Cruise Ship, and Children’s Theatre credits are a plus. DANCERS: Males and Females with strong musical theatre jazz technique. Partnering experience/tumbling are a plus. Dancers do not have to sing. COSTUME CHARACTER PERFORMERS (4’ 10” - 5’ 2”): Outgoing, energetic Male and Female performers with strong movement ability and basic improv skills. OPEN CALLS for Dancers and Costume Character Performers (Non-Union) will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 10am (Dancers) and 2pm (Costume Characters) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 4th Floor, NYC. MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS: A brief dance combination will be taught. Bring form-fitting dance attire (women bring heels and flats), headshot and resume stapled together. COSTUME CHARACTER PERFORMERS: A brief movement combination will be taught. Bring dance clothes/shoes. Callbacks will be held following the movement combination. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. PAY RATE: $550/week minimum. Lodging provided. Shared cast rental cars also provided on site.
