CONTEMPORARY THEATER COMPANY 2016 SEASON - The Contemporary Theater Company

As spring approaches, The Contemporary Theater Company is already gearing up for its summer season! The company holds open auditions for all of its shows, and is dedicated to showcasing local actors. Auditions for the season will be held at the theater at 327 Main Street in Wakefield on March 28-30 from 5 pm – 9 pm.

The Contemporary Theater Company is holding auditions for The Fantasticks, a musical by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, directed by Christopher Simpson, musical direction by Jean Maxon-Carpenter, Rumors, a farce by Neil Simon, directed by Maggie Cady, and Shakespeare on the Saugatucket, which will be performed on the new performance patio. Additionally, auditions will include the summer family shows Jenny Vs. the Pirates, a musical by Sami Avigdor and Matthew Requintina, and The Emperor’s New Clothes by Andy Hoover. Anyone interested is encouraged to audition! There are no roles for children under 14 at this time.

Narragansett Valkyrie by Andy Hoover
