>WPPAC has created a summer theatre program called STAGE 2 that bridges the gap between our Conservatory and MainStage, giving college and graduate school actors the opportunity to work in a Professional Regional Theatre under the guidance of Broadway artists.



While geared for those in college or graduate school, any non-union actors who feel they may benefit from this experience are welcome to audition. Exceptionally talented rising high school juniors and seniors who are at least 16 years of age will also be considered. AUDITION DATES

REHEARSAL/PERFORMANCE INFORMATION

First Rehearsal:Tuesday, July 7. Rehearses in White Plains, NY Tuesday-Friday evenings and Saturday daytime, July 7 – July 31 Tech: begins Saturday, August 1 Run: August 7-9, 2015 CASTING INFORMATION Seeking:CLICK HERE) Non-traditional casting isSTRONGLY encouraged. ALL ethnic types welcome.



Specifically looking for strong actors and exceptional singers who have voices with passion, power and range, who move well. All types and singing ranges encouraged to attend. Any 18+ non-union actors who feel they may benefit from this experience are welcome to audition. Exceptionally talented rising high school juniors and seniors who are at least 16 years of age will also be considered.



Non-paid; no transportation or housing provided. Actors cast will be given preference and consideration for future productions including potential professional touring productions. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Audition-Making InstructionsFor a 5-minute appointment: please e-mail
education@wppac.com. Include name, phone number, email address, school you currently attend (if applicable) and preferred approximate time(s) you’d like to audition. Performers without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits. Once you have been given an appointment time, it will be confirmed by email along with detailed driving and mass transit directions using Metro-North from Grand Central. www.wppac.com What to Prepare: Please prepare a 32 bar cut from the show. Performers should sing from the role in which they are interested. Must bring sheet music in the correct key. A piano accompanist will be provided but will not transpose. Charts are NOT acceptable, NO cd’s and NO unaccompanied singing.Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
