CHARLOTTE'S WEB - Leddy Center Non Equity Auditions

OPEN AUDITIONS FOR CHARLOTTE’S WEB AT LEDDY CENTER, JUNE 13TH

E.B. White’s beloved story with music and lyrics by the Broadway master, Charles Strouse (Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Applause, etc) and book by Award winning children’s playwright, Joseph Robinette, makes for “some musical!”, as Charlotte would say!

Director Elaine Gatchell announces open auditions on Saturday, June 13, for all the wonderful roles in this beautiful story. Leading adult singing roles include: Charlotte, Big Wilbur, John Arable, Martha Arable, Homer Zuckerman, Edith Zuckerman, Templeton the Rat, Goose, Gander, Sheep, Lamb, reporter. Leading children’s singing roles include: Little Wilbur, age 9-12, Fern Arable, age 10-13, Avery Arable, age 9-11, Bat, and Owl. Other major roles include Lurvy, goslings, fair-going adults, fair-going children, Uncle, and baby spiders, age 5-8. We also need lighting and sound people for this show.

Please bring a headshot and a prepared song to sing and act out. If auditioning for Little Wilbur or Fern, please pick up music at our office, MTWF, 3:00-5:00pm or Thursday from 3:00-6:00pm. Auditions are being held at Leddy Center theater on Ladd's Lane in Epping, NH.

Rehearsals begin September 1, and are on Sunday afternoons at 1:00pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. Shows are October 23-November 11.
