Production Description
Casting our latest comedy web series "Big Law" about the terrible lives of paralegals in large New York City law firms, starring Brandon Salerno (Truman) of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The initial run will be six, 6-minute shorts that, depending upon reception, will be extended into a longer run. Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations
Auditions: January 19 (Friday), January 20 (Saturday), January 21 (Sunday). In your submission, tell us your availability. This will be in midtown manhattan.
Rehearsals/Shoot: A single weekend in February/March, depending on availability.
Compensation & Union Contract Details
Nonunion. First run of mini episodes is unpaid, but day rates will be budgeted if picked up for longer run and based on individual negotiation. PLEASE APPRECIATE this is an ultra low budget production.

Roles:
Julian (21-25, male, caucasion)--Fresh faced young go-getter. Sarcastic. Might be the illegitmate son of a named partner at the firm! FINGERS CROSSED!
Pengyu (21-25, male, Asian)--Eager, studious new paralegal of Asian descent (character will be renamed to align with ethnicity of actor cast). Very concerned about when he is getting paid because he's living on cereal.
Zara (21-30, transgender woman, preferably African American)--Probably the most professional of the new hires. She is very particular about her chosen pronouns and she has HR on speed dial because god damn it you WILL not mess with her. WILL ONLY CONSIDER TRANSGENDER WOMEN TO PLAY THIS ROLE.
Alan (25-30, male, all ethnicities)--He might have gone to law school had he not been caught in the vortex of 7-days a week, 18 hour shifts. Fueled entirely by beef jerkey and red bull, his office unfortunately smells of baloney. He has been a paralegal far too long.
Zoe (28-35, female, all ethnicities)--Mid level associate, equal parts beautiful and evil. Regularly sexually harassed in the office, she uses it to her personal advantage, and sets the women's rights movement back decades in the process.
Bri (21-30, female, all ethnicities)--New paralegal, a bit on the chubby side. Strangely loves PopTarts. Unclear how she got through the interview process.
Debra Santos (35+, female, latina)--Runs the paralegal department at Stark Arkob. Has drunk the law firm Kool Aid.
Fitz (25-35, female, caucasian)--Seasoned paralegal, addicted to caffeine and constantly on the hunt for overtime. Frazzled and on edge. Preferably a red head.
Wilby (60+, male, caucasian)--Named partner at the firm, believed to be about 457 years old and likely only alive due to his pact with Satan.
